Learning Communities

Some students may be living within a learning community, where a friend with a similar interest, or a classmate in your academic program is right next door. Learning communities provide a tremendous opportunity for you to enhance your residence experience. Students living on these floors benefit from the friendship and support of being in direct daily contact with other first-year students who either share their classes, hobbies and interests, or lifestyle preferences.

If you live on one of these floors, your RA or Don will work with our office to provide specifically-focused programs and events that meet the shared needs you and your floormates all have in common - whether it's a faculty meet-and-greet for those living on our Faculty-Based Learning Communities or Diversity Potluck if you live on the Global Village Interest-Based Learning Community.
