Academics in Residence

Academic & Leadership Programmers (ALP)

What does an ALP do?

Academic and Leadership Programmers (ALPs) are live-in residence staff members, dedicated specifically to help you with everything related to your scholastic and academic needs. ALPs organize programs, offer workshops, meet with you one-on-one about your academic-related questions and concerns, and connect you to campus resources. They also help you develop your leadership skills by providing the link to involvement opportunities in residence, on campus, and in the London community.

In addition to their role, they offer regular support meetings for international and exchange students living in residence, planning experiences to orient international and exchange students to the Western and London community.
